What we learned from New York Giants’ 30-29 loss to Washington

The Giants are supposed to be a disciplined bunch. They are made to run laps in practice if they make certain mistakes, especially undisciplined ones.

On the WFT’s game-winning drive on Thursday night, linebacker Lorenzo Carter gave Washington a first down with a neutral zone infraction. Then, the Giants were forced to use timeouts after players couldn’t get off the field during substitutions. And the final nail came when Dexter Lawrence jumped offsides on the play where the game-deciding kick was missed.

That gave the WFT another chance to win it, which they did.

The Giants were flagged for 11 penalties for 81 yards on the night.
