Lions coach Dan Campbell addresses D’Andre Swift ‘internet rumors’

Detroit Lions: D’Andre Swift trying to focus on football

The Lions don’t have high expectations entering the season, and rightly so. After trading Matthew Stafford, the Lions are building for the future, even with Jared Goff under center. Campbell knows this, and a young building block like Swift needs to have his head in the right place.

Swift totaled just under 900 yards from scrimmage last season in 13 games. With a full 17-game slate, there’s no telling his potential on an offense that desperately needs playmakers.

The Georgia product will be available to play Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers.
